Ever wondered who owns that rather nice Volkswagen beetle which lives up the road?

or even that orange Camper Van which you pass and wave to everyday? Well, we have.

A few local VW enthusiasts have united and organised a friendly get together of local aircooled Volkswagens offering VW owners the chance to meet up and cruise to a venue in convoy, treating the residents of Hitchin and Letchworth to a display of local VW's.

Welcome To the Hitchin and Letchworth V-Dubbers Online HLVDUBS have been around for the last few years, meeting monthly for a chat and a laugh and going to all the relevant car shows together. We are a lovely group of people brought together by aircooled V Ws, but that’s not all we talk about! We get together for a good time, it’s a good opportunity to meet someone new and maybe even make some friends. Our members are aged from 17 upwards although we do have some many younger who come to the shows with their families.

We have a Regular Pub Meet, once a month on the 2nd Thursday of each month, we meet at 7:30pm in st mary's carpark, hitchin and then cruise up to the two chimneys in letchworth at 8:00pm

We organise club camping for big events like Bugjam this july, we also have BBQs and run our own Show and Shine Night.

We have no links with other clubs although we are planning some events which include other clubs. Many of our members also belong to other clubs.

we are not a club, meerly a group of people who meet once a month and share similar interests!
